Privacy Policy

QLD Holdings LLC, doing business as The Horizon Works Group ("Horizon Works", "we", "us", or "our"), operates the website at thehorizonworksgroup.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site and how we use it.
1. Scope
This policy covers the Site — a marketing and informational website about our custom software studio. It does not govern the separate software platforms we design and operate for clients (for example, ATLAS), which are covered by the agreements and privacy terms specific to each engagement.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you submit
If you use our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, organization (optional), email address, and any free-text you include about your operation and what you'd like to improve.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical request logs — such as IP address, browser/user-agent, pages requested, and timestamps — to operate and secure the Site.
2.3 Cookies & analytics
We use Google Tag Manager to load and manage measurement tags on the Site. Depending on the tags we have enabled, these may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device — for example, Google Analytics 4 — and share aggregate usage data with Google to help us understand and improve how the Site is used. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless service that collects aggregate traffic data without cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. These analytics and marketing tags are off by default and load only after you allow them through our consent banner (we use Google Consent Mode, and the Meta Pixel does not fire until you consent to marketing cookies); you can change or withdraw your choice anytime via Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. 3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about a potential engagement.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that host the Site and transmit our email, acting on our behalf (for example, our cloud hosting and email-delivery providers).
- When required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Horizon Works or others.
- In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), subject to this policy.
5. Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain reasonable business records, after which we delete or anonymize them. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations.
6. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and we apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@thehorizonworksgroup.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International users
We operate from the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
