Cookie Notice

This notice explains how thehorizonworksgroup.com uses cookies and similar technologies, what runs before you make a choice, and what runs only if you allow it.
Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which tells us in aggregate how the Site is used — pages viewed, referrers, and similar. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_TZ13R7P3KC in your browser and shares usage data with Google.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service that collects aggregate traffic data without setting cookies, using fingerprinting, or tracking you across other websites.
Marketing
If you allow marketing cookies, we load the Meta Pixel, which sets the cookie _fbp and reports page views to Meta. It helps us measure how our Facebook and Instagram advertising performs, and Meta may use what it collects under its own policies. Allowing marketing also lifts Google's advertising-consent restriction on the Google tag. We do not sell your personal information.
Your consent
Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or choose categories individually.
- Before you choose, or if you reject: Google Tag Manager and the Google tag still load, in the restricted state defined by Google Consent Mode. In that state they set no cookies, but they do send Google a cookieless signal that a page was viewed. The Meta Pixel does not load at all. Cloudflare's cookieless analytics runs.
- If you allow analytics: Google Analytics sets its cookies and measures your visit in full.
- If you allow marketing: the Meta Pixel loads and sets its cookie.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key hwg_consent_v1; it is not a cookie and is not sent to us. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
Essential operation
The Site is a static website served by our hosting provider. Our hosting and security infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver pages reliably and securely; these are not used to identify or track you for marketing.
If this changes
If we add or change any cookie-based feature, or adopt a different analytics tool, we will update this notice and our Privacy Policy to describe it before or when it goes live.
Your controls
Your first stop is the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page, which reopens the consent chooser so you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Declining cookies will not prevent you from using the Site.
